Inviting Team Members

You can invite team members directly from your brewery's admin panel. Invited members will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. They don't need to purchase a license — just a free RaspberryPints account.

How to Send an Invite

  1. Log in to your brewery admin panel
  2. Click Team in the sidebar navigation
  3. In the Invite Team Member section, enter the person's email address
  4. Choose a role from the dropdown:
    • Manager - Can add/edit beers and taps, configure settings, manage layouts, view the team, and invite other members
    • Staff - Can add/edit beers, and tap and untap kegs
  5. Click Send Invite

A success message will confirm the invitation was sent. The invited person will receive an email with a link to accept.

If the Email Doesn't Arrive

Sometimes email delivery can fail due to spam filters or other issues. If this happens, you'll see a message like:

Invitation created for user@example.com, but the email could not be sent. Use the "Copy Link" button to share it manually.

You can manually share the invitation:

  1. In the Pending Invitations section, find the invitation
  2. Click the Copy Link button next to it
  3. Send the copied link to the person directly (via text, Slack, email, etc.)

Managing Pending Invitations

All outstanding invitations appear in the Pending Invitations section of the Team page. For each invitation, you can see:

  • Email - Who was invited
  • Role - What role they'll have
  • Sent - When the invitation was sent
  • Expires - When the invitation expires
  • Status - Whether it's pending, accepted, expired, or revoked

Revoking an Invitation

If you need to cancel a pending invitation:

  1. Find the invitation in the Pending Invitations table
  2. Click Revoke
  3. Confirm by clicking Revoke in the confirmation dialog

The invitation link will immediately stop working.

Things to Know

  • A person who is already a member of your brewery cannot be invited again
  • The invitation email comes from RaspberryPints — ask invitees to check spam if they don't see it
  • Invitations expire after a set period — you can always send a new one if needed
  • You must be a Manager or Owner to send invitations
